I have a little problem were the whole network goes down for a few second most staff don’t even notice except the staff connected to Pastel and another database program which gets kicked out. There is no logs on my HP ProCuve switches the all seems unaware of the problem but we have a fibre backbone that all connect to a SMC Tiger Switch 8612XL3 So I start to suspect the SMC switch went into the logs but nothing I restarted the switch logged back into it then I see that all the VLAN and Tagged I setup last month is gone, there is also a Diag light that is on at the front of the switch but can’t find any explanation on the light in the manual any one got an idea what that light means and why my VLAN settings would disappear?
