Hi
Moving onto routing which is new for me, can anyone let me know if I'm doing this right please?
I'm tasked with merging two different companies into one. Sites will be linked using CAT5 as they are all on same geographic area. Using three switches to do this.
Company A Server has a 192.168.1.252 address
Company B Server has a 10.0.1 10 address
Switch1 is company A's
Switches 2&3 belong to Company B (Switch 2 acting as a central switch)
I need to first setup routing from Switch1 to Switch 2 and then Switch 3 to Switch 2 but overall I need servers at both ends to communicate as I'm wanting to create a forest trust - I believe this may be the best way to migrate Company B to A and eventually retire their server.
Do I need to implement routing on the servers or the switches or both?
Somewhat puzzled.
