Hi Guys,
I would appreciate some advice with one of my projects.
I have been tasked with designing and setting up a SMB network including everything.
They have put a very big necessity on security of the network. They were even considering have two computers each with two completely physically separate networks, one for internet one for their SAGE package.
I am looking at having a single network with a UTM- netgear UTM9S due to cost.
My question is when it comes to the way of set-up for Sage line 50 professional. I was wondering whether to just have one higher spec'd desktop machine which the owner uses which acts as the sage server, or to have a cheap dell T110 II with 2x 500gb hard drive in Raid 1 with server 2012 essentials, 4gb ram, xeon e3-1220, with that server just to act as the main server for sage, holding all company information and the clients connecting to that via a network drive.
On the desktops i will use windows 7 pro.
I would really appreciate your opinions on what i am trying to do. If I go the server route, i need to be able to jusity this, due to extra cost for server and extra licensing needed.
Many Thanks
