Hiya all,
We have 6 Ubiquiti UniFi access points on site, 5 of them are fine - really stable connection and never drop out - the 6th however tends to drop out atleast 2 or 3 times a week.
I have logged onto the UniFi Controller and there are no errors or alerts listed for this access point, neither is there in the server event logs.
I have reset the access point by simply unplugging it and plugging it back in (first port of call with these things!), it readopts fine but maybe a day or two later it'll disconnect it self from the network again. I have also tried manually re-adopting it using the IP address that is listed on the DHCP server for it, no such luck.
Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing it? I'm fairly sure the network point that its connected to is okay as we had no problems with the previous access point located there. Dodgy POE injector maybe? something as simple as a bad patch cable?
