Hi I have been trouble shooting this problem for 3 days now and thought I would throw it out there to see if any of you can help me. I am trying to setup a shared printer and the computer that has the printer installed on is not accessible on the network I am able to see the NetBIOS name in the list but when I try to click on it, I get an error. I have setup a lot of computers to do print sharing but this computer has something that is blocking it from the network. I have tried disabling the windows Firewall and made sure that the printer is shared to everyone network discovery is on password protected is off and file and printer sharing is on. I have plug directly to the computer via RJ45 and still same problem so no hardware firewall or cable problems. This computer is running Windows 7 64bit and they are on a workgroup not a domain and yes they are both in the same workgroup. When this problem started it was asking for a network password when I try to access this computer not it just errors out.
