Static ARP in HP 2824 and 2810 Switches

Hi,

Trying to configure Network Load Balancing for a few servers in an ESXi 5.1 environment, trouble being we have a mix of Cisco and HP switches

The farm is configured with IGMP multicasting as opposed to unicast

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1006580

and is recommended by Vmware

http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/implmenting_ms_network_load_balancing.pdf

Both the HP switches support multicast (IGMP) and this has been enabled, but if I follow the guide, I need to setup a static ARP entry to the switches, and that is where I don't seem to be able to follow.

The cisco switches are easy - arp {IP Address} {Physical (MAC) Address} ARP
but I have been unable to find the command to enter in a static ARP for a HP switch.

I have found the following Ip arp-mcast-replies and have run this on the switches, but the farm address doesn't ever seem to make it on the the ARP tables of the HP switches.

So my questions are:

1) How do I add a static ARP to a HP switch? is it possible?

2) Will just running the IP arp-mcast-replies enable the farm to operate normally and I won't need to add an ARP entry? How is this a valid substitution for a static ARP?

I know the answer may be stupidly simple, and please let me know if it is, but I can't find it :(

Any guidance greatly appreciated!
