We have a good connection between offices, Our internet is coming in to site #1, usually between 60-80mb connection, Site 2 is about 45 min away and gets it's connection from site #1.
We are seeing a lag in video playback between the sites, if we keep the video window small it's better, but full screen forget about it, totally lagging, audio won't match video.
I've tried connecting from site # 2 to site #1 via VNC connection, tried through internet based Logme In session, also through our VOIP Conferencing connection, we have a Mitel system and have it setup to support conferencing through our network. All results are the same: video seems to lag.
Wondering if there are any suggestions out there for places to look to check out settings on our network maybe that might be causing this. Anyone know of any quick places to look that might jump out at you where it might be bottlenecking or occurring?
Videos will play just fine from site# 1 our main office. We are wanting to be able to have site # 2 be able to view things like safety meetings or employee meetings, things like powerpoint slide shows that usually are just fine, and any videos that are played, without having to have everyone drive to site # 1 to be included.
Daily tasks performed across our WAN, accessing files on shared drives, internet access, etc, are usually fine, it's just video playback from our conference room pc, or any pc at site #1 that seems to lag when viewing in site #2
Thanks in advance, hope to get some places to look for the issue.
