Strange happenings here. Background: I am based in a school, a company has sent a woman with a laptop which should have a VPN connection to their office.
After putting in the schools proxy settings, the internet works, as you would expect. But the laptop cannot connect to the office's Citrix Access Gateway. Even though the company can remote in (so internet defo works!)
Did a little digging and came across something odd, in the Network and Sharing Center, there are two connections (LAN and Wireless), BUT they are showing two different networks! Despite both connections are physically going to our school network, one of them is showing their office domain. Whats more bizarre, is if I try swapping between wireless and lan only, after identifying they will become their office domain.
For example, going from both connections (one is school domain, other is their domain), I unplug one connection (their domain), and after a few seconds, it changes the other connection from the schools domain, to theirs! Ive never seen that before.
Even better is that they say the laptop works fine at their office, meaning its now my problem (yay!)
Any ideas? Im flummoxed. Thanks in advance
