We have a secondary network used for non critical equipment along with convenience for our smartphone / tablet users. The problem is that it has grown to needing more IP's than a standard class c subnet. I have deployed a DHCP server that can handle a /23 network (192.168.0.0/23) and I have also turned on DNS. My problem is the router which is at 192.168.1.1 and only supports class c subnets. As this is not mission critical i do not have the budget for a high end router. the best I could do is a cisco RV320 that I have yet to unbox. I'd love to keep this network going as it keeps end users happy with their personal items and off our business network.
All thoughts are greatly appreciated.
