Hey guys and gals,
I have a small client with about 6 or 7 computers and no server or smart switch or anything. One of the managers is wanting to know why they are using way over 200gb per month traffic. They went up form about 10-12 per month. The ISP is charging overages (yuk).
Sadly, they have their in-house gal (receptionist) and she has the network in a stranglehold. I can't even get the passwords for the machines from her, she has to type them in for me. Seriously a rough gal to deal with.
The manager wants her out of the loop on this. So I need to find an easy way to check and see which PC or user is the offending one.
I have scanned everything but I see nothing going on as far as a virus or malware.
The office is a mix of xp/vista/7 home and pro PCs. It's a mess, but I can't get them to change anything until I can solve this issue, and their "remote" dude isn't helping me.
