Good Day Folks,
Rather new here. I am a self taught budding professional sys admin assistant at a small school. I am just now beginning to look into further configuring our network. We have nearly all HP Procurve managed switches. Until now all of our switches have been run as essentially unmanaged switches, sort of just plug in and go and hope it all works. All of our switches have been deployed so I any modifying will have to be done so as to not bring down the entire network.
We have three different internet connections which each have their own mikrotik routers.
I would like to get all of our switches configured so that we can begin to use the ProCurve management utility to monitor our traffic.
Any suggestions on where I ought to start? Any resources that you would suggest to help me broaden my now very insignificant knowledge?
