We have 20ish branches currently connected via MPLS over T1s. Flat out it is expensive and we have had more outages than what is acceptable. Unfortunately this will not happen soon due to contracts but I want to have some ideas to share when the time comes.
I imagine putting in a cable modem and DSL connection in each location which would save me at least $500/month per location. Then I was looking at Meraki and like how they can do dual WAN vpn that just work to create a true mesh connection. I was also looking at Peplink and also liked what they do except they don't have a web management portal but that's ok. They are priced comparable and the multi year support plans are no more expensive than Cisco SMARTnet for our current 1921s. Can my 1921s do dual WAN vpn?
I guess I'm asking what you guys use and how do you like it.
