I'm looking into aggregation of multiple carrier connections (3 to be exact) to create a stronger backbone. Through research, there appears to be some really decent hardware appliances out there for this type of task. I've seen both Mushroom and Syswan appliances.
Benefits vs. Problems:
- The upsides seem obvious, but what is your experience with this technology?
- What are and downsides to this technology?
- Is this a viable solution for WAN link failover?
Price:
- Some of these devices seem to vary in price depending on the brand. Who has the biggest bang for the buck?
