Ok,
Today is the day that I guess I am trying to figure out all of my little annoyances in our network.
For some time, about 6 months, there is an issue when certain users (mine included), after we changed the scope of our network (from 192.168.1.** to 10.10.***.***), when ever I and a few others connect to the VPN, for some reason, the computer is assigned an IP address from the older scope, specifically 192.168.1.117(preferred).
When this happens, since this IP address is not in the range of our network, the users can not access any files, software, etc that requires network access.
The work around that I am using for right now is that I have a separate computer that is connected to our VPN at all time so that the other users will not have the preferred IP address assigned to their computers when they connect to the VPN.
Help on this will be super awesome!!!
Thanks My Spicies
