I have an idea to make some of my day-to-day work easier. We have Adtran routers, all CLI, and I would like to create an easier way to add a VPN user (crypto ike fqdn). Essentially I want to have an automator script or something open, prompt/ask for the router you want, and then the username and the pre-shared key for the user. I know I can just edit the automator task each time to have the user, but a prompt or two would make it easier for my techs to do this as well. Finally, I would like it to run the copy of the running config to the startup.
Commands themselves are simple for the router, just not sure how to approach the automation of it with the prompts.
