Hi. I'm a newbie here, but not to PC tech.
I run a media company and as such deal with a lot of very large video related files.
I have a 'server' on my small office network which is in reality a PC with lots of external USB drives that is running Windows 7 Professional. We have five computers in the office, running Windows 7 Home Premium; all of which sync to the 'server' via SyncBack Pro.
The problem we are having is that the Windows 7 Professional 'server' continues to sporadically and for no apparent reason drop the shared drives we need to sync to. The drives are sometimes available for several days, and other times they disappear after only a couple of hours. Some days the sharing survives a reboot of the Windows 7 Professional 'server' while others times doing so will delete all of the shared drives or only some.
Has anybody out there experienced this?
