Seems everything on our network was working fine, and then lost connectivity from certain computers accessing the network. I can't ping them, and in the network try it now shows Network 3, or unidentified network instead of our domain name.
We have a DC, TS, 10 systems that are running Windows 7, a Cisco RV 220w router,
We have a static IP address from our local provider, and the router is giving out all the IPs to the newtork.
Here are the items I've already checked:
- I've pinged server to server - that works
- I've pinged other systems on the network from the servers, - That didn't work
- Checked firewalls on all the systems and they are disabled
- The DC, and TS seem to be in working order. I haven't seen any errors or warning messages. All the services required seem to be running
- I rebooted both servers, and at one point the TS showed in the network tray Network 3 instead of domain name, which I disable and enabled the network card and then it brought up the domain again.
I've ran a traceroute on one of the machines, and it tells me "unable to resolve target system",
I'm connected through our TS, yet all the other systems show unidentified network, no internet access
All the machines are setup DHCP automatically
NSLOOKUP tells me "Default Server Unknown, no response" which shows the IP address of my server.
I'm wondering if it could be the router, and if I would have to go back and set it to the defaults and begin again.
Any suggestions?
