Hi,
We're upgrading our internet service to 2, 1GB ISPs with which we'll run BGP. We have our own /24 block of IPs. Here's what my boss wants:
- We want to run BGP Best Path so both links will be active.
- We want to force a few systems to use a certain path. For instance we have four audio streams feeding a CDN, and we want two to go out Link 1 and two to go out Link 2.
I was thinking of using two stacked Cisco 3750x’s or two stacked Brocaded FCX624S as "a" router. Do I need equipment which can handle a larger routing table?
Can I force a path per individual source IP address, or do I need to get another little block of IPs to force the route?
Thanks in advance.
