HP VC Flex-10 Enet Layer 2 question

I have a HP C7000 enclosure. In interconnect Bay 1 and Bay 2 I have  HP VC Flex-10 Enet Modules.  Ports 7 and 8 are empty and are showing green active for the interconnecting between the 2 bays. Is it possible to have a server connect to the interconnect on bay 1 on VLAN20 and a server connect to the interconnect in bay 2 on vlan 20 and talk to each other. No external switches for VLAN20, just looking to see if a VLAN can traverse the interconenct modules using the internal stacking links and never leave the chassis. Same Vlan, no routing just layer 2??
