We are debating on resubnettng our network to larger flat network and I am concerned about our remote location.
Current environment - 192.168.0.x /24 255.255.255.0 network with a remote site of 192.168.1.x, 255.255.255.0 and all PC's set to static
Planned environment - 192.168.0.x - 192.168.3.x /22 255.255.252.0 and leave the remote site the same.
We are using a Sonicwall for site to site vpn
If I change the subnet at the main location do I need change it at the remote site?
I figured I would exclude 192.168.0.x and 192.168.1.x network from DHCP, let 192.168.2.x be our DHCP for PC's and exclude 192.168.3.x for our security surveillance systems.
Am I right that this can be done....thoughts!!!
