I have 2 physical subnets at one location. Both of the subnets was recently reconfigured so that all ports are ("switch mode trunk") and they have a native vlan defined ("switch trunk native vlan xx")
Everything seems to work well, except on one of the subnets several times throughout the day I will see network communications issues between devices within this subnet.
There is a lot of multicast traffic so I have enabled igmp snooping on the vlan ("ip igmp snooping"). This did seem to help, there are less issues but still there are issues.
The devices are time sensitive, so if they have a 2 to 3 second delay it can cause them to go into a fault situation.
Any ideas on how to track this? I've looked at the switches and I am not seeing any port errors. Things will run find for several hours and then we will have an issue.
