Renaming and adding multiple files to network computers

Looking for a script to rename files (adding .old to the end of them) and adding 2 new files in their place. This has to be done over networked PCs, most of which are Windows 7 and a few XPs floating around. I have the file locations (actually could be in one of two folders) but over 250 computers that I need to physically touch. Any spicehelp would be greatly appreciated.

I know this can be done more effectively than renaming and replacing on each computer. Thanks.
