We are in the process of narrowing down the low voltage contractors for a new facility. We have decided to use CAT6A for everything. One contractor is proposing Commscope products and one of the others is proposing ICC products. The price difference is rather significant especially considering there are over 1500 cable runs. Is one superior to the other? Or are they just cables? they both come with long warranties. I would prefer the contractor that uses commscope over icc, but the ceo can't see past the huge price difference. Is there a "magic quadrant" for cable manufacturers? Or is there something I can show the ceo that commscope is a better product?
