Recently I built some several new computers for an office. They have to run Windows XP because of legacy 16 bit software that is necessary for their business. The computers all ran fine at my office and updated without any problems . The previous computers were 6 years old. The computers run in a workgroup environment.
The issue is the two old computers in the office have no problems accessing the Internet at all. The new computers can access their home page but have problems traversing the Internet. Sometimes they have to refresh the new page several times before it appears. One other thing if one of them works on a weekend they have no issues.
If the old computers had the same problem as the new ones I could blame it on their Internet connection. The Windows firewall is turned off on all these machines and in some cases so is their antivirus. Can anyone explain to me what could be the cause? Thanks
