Ping/Firewall

This is a really big newbie question.

I am having trouble with being able to ping machines.

I have two subnets .2 & .3.

I can be on a .2 machine and successfully ping in the .2 subnet. I cannot ping any .3 addresses.

I can be on a .3 machine and not be able to ping any .3 addresses. I am also not able to ping any .2 addresses.

All of the computers work fine with Internet access. What could be the cause/solution to this? Could it be my firewall or is it more likely my DNS on my Windows 2008 server?

All machines are pointing to the correct DNS.
